We offer Disinfectant Compatibility Testing for reusable device manufactures seeking to assess the compatibility of their device with a hospital-grade cleaner or disinfectant. Reusable devices may be cleaned and disinfected hundreds to thousands of times throughout their life and we understand that compatibility testing can be an inefficient and lengthy process. We are here to help.
Reusable medical device manufactures recommend cleaners and disinfectants that are compatible and effective to use with their devices to ensure patient/user safety and to reduce the risk of devices spreading healthcare-associated infections (HAI’s). Our test service allows device manufactures to analyze the condition of their device after a lifetime of cleaning and disinfection and make accurate, responsible decisions about which cleaners and disinfectants should be used by the end user.

Testing is Accurate and Efficient
We follow the cleaning/disinfecting instructions provided by the device manufacturer intended for the end user. By repeatedly following these instructions on finished devices, the effects that the cleaner/disinfectant has on a device can accurately be simulated throughout the devices expected reuse life. While it varies depending the device and cleaner/disinfectant being tested, we can typically complete 200-600 cleaning/disinfection cycles per day.
Get Started
The test protocol identifies how the devices should be cleaned/disinfected, the disinfectant used in testing, and the number of To start a test, manufactures provide devices/test articles, instructions on how the devices should be cleaned, and the cleaner or disinfectant being assessed for compatibility. We will follow these instructions.
